2023 Commendation of Promoting Health Workplace

2023 Commendation of outstanding units and personnel for promoting workplace health
This year, a total of 6 business entities and 6 nursing personnel in labor health services were awarded for their outstanding performance in promoting workplace health services (list in the attached table). According to the characteristics of their own working environment and the health needs of workers, the award-winning units actively invested resources to improve software and hardware measures to provide a healthy and friendly working environment, and encourage everyone to participate in health promotion and self-health management.
For example, Powertech Technology Inc., which is approved as an "outstanding enterprise", adheres to the commitment of "building a safe, healthy, friendly, and happy workplace", including protection of middle-aged and elderly and special groups, and has a management strategy in place to promote the goal of health services. They consider cultural differences to establish a supportive environment that is people-centered, healthy, and fair. On the other hand, the Tainan Yongkang garbage recycling (incineration) plant of Onyx Ta-Ho Environmental Services Co., Ltd., approved as a model enterprise, meets the health needs of its workers by dividing up the work of the team and integrating internal and external health service resources, despite being a smaller entity with fewer than 60 employees.
In addition, the award-winning nursing personnel in labor health services share a common feature: they systematically analyze the health conditions of workers, set short-, medium-, and long-term goals and track the improvement of workers’ health. They continue to promote the labor health management measures, all of which are worthy of commendation.
