The Occupational Accident Prevention and Rehabilitation Center proudly presents Issue 12 of the Health Report on Occupational Accident Protection!
As the government continues to strengthen medical care for offshore island residents, concrete actions are steadily being implemented. In this issue, the Center features the cover story “NTU Hospital and Taipei Veterans General Hospital Launch Offshore Medical Support, Occupational Injury and Disease Networks Established in Matsu and Kinmen,” highlighting that residents of Matsu and Kinmen can now receive occupational injury and disease diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation services locally, without the burden of long-distance travel.
In addition, Taichung Tungs’ Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital recently admitted three consecutive cases of occupational carbon dioxide poisoning, serving as an important reminder for workers to reinforce protective measures in the workplace.
