In order to promote the sustainable development of workplace safety and health and assistance services for workers suffering from occupational accidents, the Ministry of Labor sponsored the establishment of "the Center for Occupational Accident Prevention and Rehabilitation", which was unveiled on April 29, 2022, to provide comprehensive services of "prevention”, “protection”, and "rehabilitation" as well as “technical services for intrinsic safety and source management”, “in-depth services for occupational safety and health culture”, “up-close-and-personal services for workplace health”, “instant comfort services with comprehensive information”, “one-stop case management services for workers suffering from occupational accidents”, “exhaustive services for diagnosis, treatment, care of occupational injuries and diseases”, “professional services for returning to work”, "services for construction of subsidy resource system", and “expanded services for occupational safety care for workers”, etc., to safeguard enterprises and workers.
The Center aims to promote the national policy of occupational accident prevention and rehabilitation to assist in occupational accident prevention and rehabilitation for workers suffering from occupational accidents, to ensure every worker can work safely and healthily, to protect the rights and interests of workers suffering from occupational accidents, and to maintain a safe and healthy workforce.

Professionals
Due to the characteristics and needs of the Center’s business, the academic background of our staff covers occupational safety and health, occupational therapy, psychology, social work, social welfare, industrial engineering, mechanics, law, business management, etc., with 3%of our staff having doctoral degrees, 40%master's degrees, 53%bachelor's degrees, and 63%% of our team members being certified in occupational safety and health related fields.
Core value for juristic persons
In accordance with the provisions of the Labor Occupational Accident Insurance and Protection Act, in order to coordinate the businesses in regard to occupational accident prevention and rehabilitation for workers suffering from occupational accidents, the central competent authority should sponsor the establishment of the Labor Occupational Accident Insurance and Protection Act. The Executive Yuan approved the effective date of the Act as May 1, 2022.
After the Labor Occupational Accident Insurance and Protection Act was announced by the President on April 30, 2021, the Ministry of Labor actively organized the establishment of the "Center for Occupational Accident Prevention and Rehabilitation", which was unveiled for operation in the presence of labor groups and experts and scholars.
Hsu Ming-Chun, Minister of Labor, was appointed as the first chairman of the center. In his speech, Mr. Hsu said that after its establishment, the center will take up the important responsibility of leading the safety and health system through international exchanges, and cooperating with government departments, teams, and enterprises, to expand the breadth and depth of on-site counseling and professional and technical services. For workers who have had occupational accidents, the Ministry of Labor has established a network of diagnosis and treatment of occupational injuries and diseases as well as rehabilitation professional institutions to provide professional consultation and customized vocational rehabilitation services to help them return to work.

Our logo is designed with CO as the Center's identification mark, incorporating the concepts of "embrace," "link," and "walk side by side," to show the Center's philosophy of safeguarding corporate safety and labor health.
