The Center for Occupational Accident Prevention and Rehabilitation has an organizational structure with the board of directors at the top, under which CEO, and Deputy CEO manage the following six business department: Occupational Accident Preventive Technology Department, Machinery and Equipment Technology Department,Occupational Hygiene and Health Service Department,Occupational Injury and Disease Service Department,Occupational Rehabilitation Department, and the Administrative affairs Department. There is also a chief information officer to provide network technical support and assistance. The distribution of qualifications of the Center's staff: 6% with doctoral degrees, 34% with master's degrees, and 48% of the team members have occupational safety and health related professional licenses.

1. Promoting a culture of occupational safety and health:
  • National Occupational Safety and Health Award Selection and Commendation Activities: Accepting applications before the end of April, with award selection processes starting in May.
  • National Workplace Safety and Health Week Event: Scheduled to hold the launching ceremony at the Fuhua Hall (B2) of Taipei Fuhua Hotel on April 21, with an estimated attendance of 200 people.

2.Disaster Prevention Promotion Plan Advocacy Activities for Special Groups and Middle-aged, Older, and Elderly Workers: Planning to conduct 20 sessions each, with the first session to be co-hosted with the Taitung Agricultural Research and Extension Station on April 11.

3.Micro and Temporary Occupational Safety and Health Counseling Plan for Private Construction Industries: Planning to carry out 3,000 sessions, with counseling teams to be established in April and implementation expected to begin in May.

4.Occupational Safety and Health Counseling Plan for Small, Medium, and Micro Manufacturing Industries: Planning to conduct 1,000 sessions; counseling teams will be established in April, with implementation expected to start in May.

5.Occupational Safety and Health Personnel Competency Enhancement Plan: Planning to hold 20 sessions, with 1 session completed on March 6. Courses from April to May are now open for registration on the official website.

6.TOSHMS Promotion Activity Plan:
  • Developing teaching materials for analyzing the provisions of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System and creating simplified guides.
  • Planning to hold 10 promotional activities for the Occupational Safety and Health Management System, with the first session in Kaohsiung on May 12. Registration is open on the official website.
7.Implementation Plan for Electrical Equipment-related Inspections in Factories:
  • Planning to conduct 70 sessions of electrical equipment safety inspection counseling.
  • Planning to hold 3 sessions of electrical inspection education and training.
  • Planning to conduct 3 sessions of competency education and training for personnel engaged in electrical explosion protection.

1. Promoting a culture of occupational safety and health:

  • Organized the National Occupational Safety and Health Award Selection and Commendation Activities Program, planning to conduct one evaluation and recognition event.
  • Held Occupational Safety and Health Experience Camps for university, high school, and vocational high school students, with 12 sessions planned and 7 sessions completed to date, involving 169 participants.
  • Promoted occupational safety and accident prevention experiences, with plans for 15 safety experience activities and 35 occupational injury prevention training sessions (including drills). To date, 9 safety experience activities and 24 training sessions have been completed.

2. Promotion of occupational safety and health technologies for small to mid-sized construction sites:
  • Conducted 50 sessions of disaster reduction technology promotion activities, with 2,629 participants to date.
  • Provided 1,466 guidance sessions on safety and health practices for temporary laborers in the construction industry to date, aiming to complete 1,800 sessions.

3. Promotional program for occupational accident prevention in high-risk business entities
  • Promoted the TOSHMS Occupational Safety and Health Management System with 8 sessions planned and 6 sessions completed to date.
  • Conducted 34 sessions of education and training for high-risk entities to date, aiming to reach 60 sessions.
  • Analyzed and promoted occupational injury prevention for mid-career and senior workers, with 14 sessions completed out of the planned 20, including a three-year analysis of major occupational injuries.
  • Planning to conduct 40 sessions focused on occupational injury prevention and enhancing safety awareness for special groups. To date, 26 sessions have been successfully completed.
  • Executed the Occupational Safety and Health Personnel Awareness Enhancement Program, planning 50 sessions in total, with 21 sessions completed to date.
