The “occupational accident prevention and rehabilitation service” is an essential process for returning to work after an occupational accident has taken place. Generally speaking, rehabilitation services for occupational accident workers include medical treatment, medical rehabilitation, occupational rehabilitation, social rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, and other legal or compensation services. The “Labor Occupational Accident Insurance and Protection Act” aims to offer comprehensive care to occupational accident workers by consolidating different professional institutions and personnel. This helps restore individual and family functions while assisting occupational accident workers in returning to work through occupational rehabilitation or vocational rehabilitation.
