In supporting the International Labour Organization’s (ILO) policies, Taiwan has designated April 28 - the "World Day for Safety and Health at Work" - as the "National Occupational Safety and Health Week". The campaign aims to remind businesses, workers, and the public of the importance of maintaining occupational safety and health and workers’ physical and mental well-being. On April 21, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Ministry of Labor (OSHA) and COAPRE hosted the "2025 National Workplace Safety and Health Week" Kick-off Ceremony. The event's theme was "AI in Hand, Safety Alongside," and it featured experience sharing from companies with outstanding occupational safety and health performance, including AGC Display Glass Taiwan Inc. and Formosa Chemicals and Fibre Corporation. The aim was to offer practical insights and encourage other businesses to join in collaboratively fostering a safe, healthy, and comfortable work environment, thereby advancing the goal of corporate sustainable development.
