2026 Central Occupational Accident Technical Service Department ｜ April Education and Training
To strengthen regional awareness of occupational accident prevention and enhance the depth of professional services, the Central Occupational Accident Technical Service Department organized a series of education and training activities in April 2026. In collaboration with local farmers’ and fishermen’s associations, occupational health education and awareness campaigns were conducted to address common workplace hazards faced by frontline workers and fishermen, while also reinforcing awareness of enrollment in Occupational Accident Insurance. In addition, through the organization of inter-institutional case conferences, regional medical institutions were invited to share practical experience in occupational rehabilitation and work hardening, further strengthening cross-institutional referral collaboration and resource integration, and continuously enhancing the professional quality of occupational accident reconstruction services.
In partnership with the Changhua Fishermen’s Association, the Central Occupational Accident Technical Service Department introduced local fishermen to common ergonomic, environmental, and chemical hazards encountered in their work, while promoting occupational safety and health concepts. Through case sharing, participants were also informed of their rights and protections under Occupational Accident Insurance, as well as key enrollment concepts. Fishermen were reminded that, in addition to their existing fishermen’s insurance coverage, they are required to enroll in Occupational Accident Insurance in accordance with regulations if they engage in other forms of employment, thereby strengthening their awareness of occupational protection. The Central Occupational Accident Technical Service Department organized the “Second Occupational Accident Reconstruction Service Case Conference of 2026,” inviting the occupational rehabilitation team from the Chiayi Branch of Taichung Veterans General Hospital and the work hardening team from Puzi Hospital to jointly present case studies and share practical experience in cross-institutional referrals, thereby promoting professional advancement and resource integration for regional occupational accident worker reconstruction services.
