Health Report on Occupational Accident Protection | Issue 8 Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Investigation: Low-Dose Indium Exposure Can Also Harm Health

The eighth issue of the "Health Report on Occupational Accident Protection" from the COAPRE is now live! To better support workers affected by occupational accidents, the COAPRE has conducted field interviews and compiled this latest e-newsletter. This issue's cover story “Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Investigation: Low-Dose Indium Exposure Can Also Harm Health” emphasizes the importance of regular medical checkups and early treatment for workers in high-tech industries who may be exposed to indium, even at low doses, to safeguard their health effectively.

This issue also features in-depth reporting on rural network hospitals. Kuanshan Tzu Chi Hospital, the only occupational injury and illness treatment network hospital in the Hualien-Taitung region, has become a beacon of hope, safeguarding workers in the East Rift Valley. In addition, the Jiasian District Health Center has made history as the first health center in the nation to join the occupational injury treatment network, offering comprehensive protection for the occupational health of rural workers.
