Health Report on Occupational Accident Protection | Issue 7 Beware of Occupational-Related Acute Hepatitis E
The seventh issue of the "Health Report on Occupational Accident Protection" from the COAPRE is now live!
To better support workers affected by occupational accidents, the COAPRE has conducted field interviews and compiled this latest e-newsletter. This issue's cover story “Beware of Occupational-Related Acute Hepatitis E,” serves to raise awareness among livestock and hog farm workers about the risks associated with the disease and the importance of adopting proper protective measures to safeguard their health. This issue also includes a special report on rural network hospitals. Pingtung Christian Hospital is recognized for its high volume of occupational accident reports and its exceptional service outcomes, achieved through personalized case-by-case visits to affected workers.
This issue also introduces Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, which has been newly designated as an accredited medical facility for occupational health treatment. The hospital's occupational medicine specialists are dual-certified and have established a testing center specializing in environmental hormone testing, offering comprehensive health protection for workers.
