2024 Second-Phase Practical Training Workshop for On-Site Labor Health Services (Full-Time Nursing Personnel)

Article 22 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act stipulates that business entities employing 50 or more workers shall employ or contract medical personnel to conduct on-site health management, and that the contents of such on-site services include not only assisting employers in the enforcement of labor health protection and health management, but also assisting business entities in facilitating the promotion of physical and mental health of workers in the workplace and the prevention of work-related diseases (WRDs), and formulating plans for their implementation.

The Center's Occupational Health Service Division is committed to enhancing the professional competencies of nursing personnel involved in labor health services. To achieve this, the Division has specifically designed three sessions of the second-phase practical training workshop for full-time nursing personnel. The goal of the workshop is to enhance workplace health management, strengthen control over workplace health hazards, and reduce the occurrence of work-related illnesses to improve the quality of service and management capabilities. Conducted as in-person sessions, the workshops include practical group exercises to foster hands-on skills development among labor health service nursing personnel.

Hosting units: the Center for Occupational Accident Prevention and Rehabilitation, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Ministry of Labor.

Target participants: This workshop is designed for nursing personnel who are actively seeking to strengthen their competencies. (Priority will be given to full-time nurses who have completed the first-phase training or those with more than two years of experience in labor health services if the number of applicants exceeds the available slots.).
