Article 22 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act stipulates that business entities employing 50 or more workers shall employ or contract medical personnel to conduct on-site health management, and that the contents of such on-site services include not only assisting employers in the enforcement of labor health protection and health management, but also assisting business entities in facilitating the promotion of physical and mental health of workers in the workplace and the prevention of work-related diseases (WRDs), and formulating plans for their implementation.
