At 62 years old, Mr. Shui suffered a fall at work, resulting in partial paralysis of both sides of his body and cognitive impairments. This forced him to take time off for recovery. Faced with his employer’s passive handling of the situation and refusal to take responsibility, his family’s financial situation was pushed to a crisis. Throughout this process, the professionals guided Mr. Shui’s family in learning how to effectively use available resources and express their needs.
