According to a survey for the petrochemical industry in Taiwan conducted last year (2023) and statistics of the Ministry of Labor for the past 10 years (2010-2022), the petrochemical industry can be classified into five segments, namely, petroleum and coal products manufacturing, chemical materials manufacturing, fertilizers, nitrogen compounds, plastic and rubber materials and man-made fibers manufacturing, other chemical products manufacturing, plastic products manufacturing and rubber products manufacturing. Therefore, in order to provide a better counseling and evaluation mechanism, this Program is designed to address the complexity of the production process in the petrochemical industry's workplaces through analytical methods and unit operations, with the goal of reducing accidents.
