Return to Original Work-2023 Occupational Rehabilitation Services for Workers Suffering from Occupational Accidents
Workers suffering from occupational accidents returning to their original work with original duties
After occupational accidents, workers will go through acute medical treatment, rehabilitation treatment and then return to work. For those with injuries and illnesses of moderate-to-severe degree or above, not only does the rehabilitation treatment take long, but some clinical practitioners are also concerned about the physiological and psychological barriers to return to work for workers suffering from occupational accidents after the accidents. To this end, the government-approved dedicated institutions for occupational rehabilitation of workers suffering from occupational accidents adopt a case-centered management service model to provide rehabilitation service needs assessment, resource integration, and individualized "work-oriented" physiological and psychological training services to help workers suffering from occupational accidents return to the labor market and reinforce their capabilities to secure a stable employment.
This report takes the case of Ms. Chan, a 60-year-old middle-aged and elderly worker, as an example to share the service history of occupational rehabilitation services in helping workers suffering from occupational accidents to enhance their working capacities and return to their original work with a stable employment.
