1.Type inspection: When hazardous machinery and equipment are manufactured or modified.
2. Completion inspection: When the installation of machinery and equipment is completed or the installation location is changed.
3. Periodic inspection: One month prior to the expiration of the qualification certificate for inspection of machinery and equipment.
4. Usage inspection: Before use and after completion of manufacturing and before use when imported from abroad.
5. Change inspection: When there is a change in the design of machinery and equipment.
6. Re-inspection: When machinery and equipment that have been out of service for more than one year beyond the valid period of the qualification certificate of inspection are to be put back into service.
7. Sealing inspection: Hazardous equipment made by sealing should be inspected before construction.
8. Structure Inspection: Upon completion of the body for manufacturing hazardous equipment.
The above safety inspections can be conducted by the manufacturer or employer by contacting the local labor inspection agencies or surrogate inspection institutions in accordance with the regulations. -
I. Hazardous machinery refers to the following machinery above a certain capacity:
1. Fixed crane
2. Mobile crane
3. Derrick crane
4. Construction elevator
5. Construction lift
6. Hoisting cage
II. Hazardous equipment refers to the following equipment above a certain capacity:
1. Boiler
2. Pressure vessel
3. Specific equipment for high-pressure gas
4. Vessel for high-pressure gas
5. Other equipment designated by the central competent authority and declared to be hazardous -

When purchasing, leasing, or installing the following machinery and equipment, including power punching and shearing machines, hand-powered planers, circular saws for wood processing, power forklifts, grinding machine, grinding wheels, explosion-proof electrical equipment, photoelectric safety devices for power punching and shearing machines, blade contact prevention devices for hand-powered planers, and counter-rotation prevention devices and sawtooth contact prevention devices for circular saws for wood processing, please be sure to require the upstream manufacturer or importer to comply with the regulatory requirements of their products to achieve the purpose of source management, and to post safety labels or qualification certification marks at obvious places of the machinery and equipment, as shown in the figure. -
Currently, the Center is planning to promote such counseling measures as counseling program for labor safety and health supervision for temporary construction operations (divided into counseling application for prevention of occupational accident for small and medium-sized construction sites and counseling program for labor safety and health supervision for small and medium-sized construction operations), promotion program for high-risk occupational accident prevention, and counseling program for old and hazardous machinery.

The occupational safety and health performance management business currently hosted by the Center includes the National Occupational Safety and Health Awards, and occupational accident insurance merit rating adjustment under the Labor Occupational Accident Insurance and Protection Act, and certification, review and approval of TOSHMS (Taiwan Occupational Safety and Health Management System).

Currently, the Center has planned activities to promote occupational safety and health culture, including construction site experience camps for university and college students, observation meetings for safety partners from university and college students. In the future, the Center will plan various activities to promote occupational safety and health and build awareness of disaster prevention culture according to the needs of the society.

The professional courses and seminars organized by the Center include seminars on the promotion of four modernization technologies in construction, seminars on disaster mitigation technologies for construction industry, promotion of high-risk occupational accident prevention, promotional campaigns on safety protection technologies for machinery and equipment and source management.

If the courses organized by the Center are general education and training and professional courses of occupational safety and health nature, the training hours approved by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Ministry of Labor shall be credited to the general safety and health education and training hours. The Center will assist in registering the training hours for public officials for their participation in our training courses.
